Nasim Nouhzadehmalekshah earned her bachelor degree in Civil Engineering. Although interesting, civil engineering did not fully satisfying to her and she found herself looking for a better way to have fulfilling career. Given her interest in Marketing and business side of companies, MBA seemed like the next logical step. After getting an MBA, she started to work at an advertising agency called Maat for three years as a data analyst and marketing strategist. This experience made her confident that she wants to broaden her knowledge of Marketing. Therefore, she joined SIU Doctoral program. Her research interests revolve around marketing strategy, internet marketing and data analytics.

Before starting the PhD program, Bhaskar completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Bangalore University in India. After that, he completed his MBA from University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa. His current research interests include branding, consumer behavior and pricing.

Hongnai Zhang received his bachelor degree in Finance from Eastern Washington University, Cheney, Washington. Zhang has two master degrees: an M.B.A. in Financial Management from Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and a Master of Science in Economics from SIU. His research interests include business competition and marketing strategy.
