Saad Ashraf started his PhD in Management at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in Fall 2020. He did his undergrad at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Accounting and Finance. After graduation, he received the prestigious Fulbright scholarship and finished his Masters in Human Resource Management at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Then he worked as a Research Assistant at Temple University and received his second Masters in Business Research. He also has full-time teaching experience in Pakistan. His current research interests include personality, employee well-being, performance pressure and deviant behaviors at workplace. 

Megan Chapman

Megan Chapman earned both her Master of Business Administration in Management and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees from Southeast Missouri State University. During her time as an MBA student, she worked full time at Southeast Missouri State University as a Research Analyst in the Department of Institutional Research. Prior to her time at Southeast, she worked as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. She began the PhD program in Management at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in Fall 2018. Current research interests include mentoring and integration of newcomers in organizations, organizational justice and injustice, organizational behavior, leadership and motivation.

Lorraine Chihora

Lorraine Kudakwashe Chihora, originally from Zimbabwe, completed her Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Cottey College and her Master of Accountancy degree from Emporia State University. Post her Master's degree, she worked as an Accounting Administrator for Ocean Spray. She began the PhD program in Management at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in Fall 2020. Current research interests include organizational justice and injustice, organizational culture, organizational behavior and leadership.

Sina Eslamdoust

Sina Eslamdoust

Doctoral Student

Sina Eslamdoust earned his Master's degree in Public Administration and Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering in Iran. After completing his education, he gained extensive experience by working as a CEO for 12 years. During this time, Eslamdoust successfully established his own company specializing in the construction industry, specifically in the production of NAAC blocks and tile adhesives.

Eslamdoust enrolled in the PhD program in Management at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, starting in the fall of 2022. His current research interests revolve around leadership, organizational behavior, team and individual-level performance, and healthcare leadership.

Brandon Griffin

Brandon Antoine Griffin is a doctoral candidate in the Ph.D. program in Management at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale (Major: Organizational Behavior, Minor: Strategic Management). As a job market candidate, his ultimate career goals include getting a tenure-track faculty position in management at an AACSB-accredited institution where he can be a high-quality teacher and conduct high-quality research. Teaching interests include organizational behavior, human resources, and data analytics. Research interests include leadership, groups, and personality.

Houra Hajian Karahroudi started her Ph.D. program in the School of Management and Marketing at Southern Illinois University in 2022. Her current research interests include remote work, personality differences, and leadership style. She earned her master's degree in human resource management from the University of Tehran, Iran, and a bachelor's degree in industrial management. Alongside her studies, she spent seven years teaching at different universities in Iran and founded two small businesses in education and tourism.

Ji Hoon Lee is a doctoral student in Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He earned his master’s degree in business Analytics from Arizona State University. His primary research interests lie in the domains of group dynamics, team-level performance, ethical leadership, as well as workplace deviance.

Mirinda McClure earned her Master of Business Administration and her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degrees from Murray State University. While completing her final year of her MBA, she was a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems. She has also worked for a small family-owned business while pursuing her degrees. She began the PhD program in Management at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in Fall 2022. Current research interests include individual differences, leadership, groups, and organizational behavior.


Diogo Seixas

Diogo Seixas

Diogo Seixas loves planning and strategizing about the future. He is also passionate and enthusiastic about learning and teaching. This became a major part of his life when he founded his project, Journey Movement, which helped develop over 4,000 people in the U.S. and Brazil. He also served as the coordinator of the Leadership Development Program of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where he helped over 100 students between 2017 and 2020. Seixas has a graduate degree in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro in Brazil and an MBA from SIUC, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Business Administration. He also has a side project called Ride Academy to help people with their career and life aspirations. Seixas' research interests are in leadership, organizational culture, organizational behavior, and career orientations.
